Bambu Batu is located at 1023 Broad St. in downtown San Luis Obispo, right on the creek and next door to Old World Rugs. The shop first opened on Grand Avenue in Grover Beach on Feb. 2006. In Nov. 2007 we moved the store to downtown S.L.O., where it fits perfectly among the city's best restaurants and specialty boutiques. On Sept. 1, 2010 we moved again, just one block up to our biggest, brightest, best space yet.
Bambu Batu is the first store in the world devoted exclusively to the myriad uses of bamboo. We carry a vast selection of bamboo shirts, blouses, pants and dresses, as well as socks, underwear, sheets and towels. We also offer an extensive selection of hardwood bamboo kitchenwares and a wide array of both rustic and solid bamboo furniture.
